The New
Century Scholarship Program
is an excellent opportunity for
Itineris Early College High School
students. The amount of Concurrent
Enrollment offerings at our school and
our proximity to Salt Lake Community
College makes getting college
credit convenient. For eligible students,
the
New Century
Scholarship Program provides
tuition assistance for up to 60
additional credit hours beyond the
Associate Degree.
The New
Century scholarship encourages
students to accelerate their education
by earning an Associate’s degree in high
school from an institution within the
Utah System of Higher Education. The
scholarship may be used at a 4-year
public college or university within the
Utah System of Higher Education, as well
as at Brigham Young University-Provo and
Westminster College. Please refer to the
web site link below for the most current
information; rules and deadlines can
change each year. The direct link is:

Students
should familiarize themselves with all
of the details of the program
requirements that are explained on the Utah System of Higher
Education's
website.
Holly
Perry is the concurrent enrollment
advisor for Salt Lake Community College.
She will be happy to assist students
with the development of a plan that will
help students reach their goal of
earning the New Century Scholarship.
Students may make an appointment with
Holly after they attend a New
Century Scholarship overview meeting
(these meetings are held on the first
Wednesday of each month at 3:30 P.M.).
Students must RSVP to
holly.perry@slcc.edu to
confirm a seat for attendance at an
overview meeting.
Graduation from Salt Lake Community
College is a critical item to pay

Scholarship Program. Students can

to meet New Century Scholarship Program
graduation requirements. |
